Bio Notes: Archibald McNab Munro was born on 5 May 1922, the son of Daniel Munro, cleansing department labourer, and his wife Margaret Boyle in Bonhill Dunbartonshire. He studied at Glasgow School of Architecture and was admitted ARIBA in 1949. At that date his address was 3 West View, Waterside, Fenwick, Ayrshire. He subsquently obtained a diploma in town planning from the University of Strathclyde and by 1970 he had taken a post with the British Political Agency in Bahrain. By 1979 he had moved to Hong Kong where he worked for the Public Works Department. He is not listed in the RIBA Directory for 1987.
