Bio Notes: James Reginald Parr studied at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee and was admitted ARIBA in 1952. He established his practice from his home in Claypotts Road, Dundee in 1956. Later that year he moved to 132A Nethergate. he was elected ARIAS in 1958. His first client was a brewing company and he received several commissions from them. In 1960 Alan F Bell was taken into partnership and the practice title became James Parr & Associates. A few years later it was changed to James Parr & Partners. In 1965 the practice moved to 95 Dundee Road, West Ferry.
