Bio Notes: Alexander Steele, who should not be confused with Alexander Steele who was City Architect from 1956-1972, studied at Dundee College of Art and was admitted ARIBA in 1966. He joined Baxter Clark & Paul immediately after finishing College. He was invited to become a partner in April 1975. In the 1980s he led a section in the Dundee office which dealt with hospital work and work for the Department of the Environment.

He served as an examiner for the RIBA. In his spare time he was a wicket keeper for the Scotland cricket team.

Steele retired from ill health by the 1990s.
