Bio Notes:	Donald Alexander Matheson was a native of Perth and a pupil of the Perth architect and civil engineer John Young. He was a school friend of James Miller an joined Miller in the office as resident engineer for the construction of the Glasgow Central Low Level lines. He subsequently held a post as architect/engineer with the Caledonian Railway Company.
