Bio Notes: James B Wyllie practised in Glasgow, working in partnership with _____ Blake as Wyllie & Blake from at least 1899. His son James Alexander Wyllie joined the firm as an apprentice in 1904, and remained as chief assistant from 1911. The partnership with Blake was dissolved and the younger Wyllie taken into partnership in 1913, the practice title changing to James B Wyllie & Son. The elder Wyllie appears to have withdrawn from the practice shortly after the end of the First World War, his son continuing the practice under the same title thereafter.
