Bio Notes: No details are yet known of Arthur G Ingham. He seems to have been born in 1885 or 1886, the son of Joseph Ingham, journalist, and his wife Sarah and to have studied at Edinburgh College of Art both for the diploma in architecture and the diploma in town planning. He was chief engineer and surveyor to the Department of Agriculture for Scotland in the late 1920s and 1930s. He had been awarded the OBE by 1949.

He later moved to the post of Deputy Architect, under County Architect D G Bannerman, of Lanarkshire County. He was assigned this post after the departure of Samuel McColl [Building 22 March 1968, p78]

Ingham died in 1966.
