Bio Notes: Little is known of James Millar other than that he practised in Motherwell in the 1930s and that between 1930 and 1940 he became a Fellow of the Glasgow Institute of Architects. He practised from Ardgarry in Avon Street which is likely to have been his home. He may have been in partnership with James Cowie in the 1930s (or it may be a different Millar or Miller).
