Bio Notes: Of Nottingham. Thomas Herbert Waumsley was in partnership with Albert Nelson Bromley from 1897. Thomas Nelson Cartwright joined them as partner from 1928. They were architects to Boots the Chemist (which was based in Nottingham) from at least 1928. By the mid-1950s Waumsley and Bromley were no longer in practice. However Cartwright was working in the practice Evans, Cartwright & Woollatt from the same address in Nottingham at this time. They had perhaps taken over Boots' architectural work.
