Basic Biographical Details Name: | John G Bruce | Designation: | | Born: | c. 1919 | Died: | 8 July 1951 | Bio Notes: | John G Bruce was born c.1919, the son of John Bruce, architect, Stirling. He served his articles with his father but as a member of the Territorial Army he was called up very soon after the beginning of the Second World War. After the war he went to study in London at Regent Street Polytechnic and worked with Messrs Arcon Limited. In 1949 he transferred to the office of Norman & Dawbarn. In December of that year he passed the Special Final Exam and was elected ARIBA in 1950.
