Bio Notes: George C Will was born in 1865 and articled to John Rust in Aberdeen c.1880. He emigrated c.1884 to Boston where he obtained a place first in the office of R Clipton Sturgis and then in that of Shepley, Rutan & Coolidge.

Will was appointed Chief Architect of the Quartermasters' Division of the War Department during the First World War, mainly engaged on the design and construction of hospitals and of the Medical School of the Army Medical Center in Washington DC, for which he was promoted to the rank of Lieut-Colonel in the Quarter Master Corps.
