| Bio Notes: | Charles Francis Armstrong practised in Newcastle upon Tyne. Armstrong had begun in Newcastle in partnership with John Lamb in 1878 and from 1898 W H Knowles had joined the firm. The following year Henry Thomas Wright had joined him. This parthership with Wright lasted until 1910 when Armstrong retired to Cumbria. Armstrong died on 2 December 1922. |
