Basic Biographical Details Name: | Frank Gatley Briggs | Designation: | | Born: | 1862 | Died: | 28 September 1921 | Bio Notes: | Frank Gatley Briggs was born in 1862 and educated at Lower Bank Academy, Blackburn. He was articled to James Bertwistle of Blackburn from 1876 to 1880 and subsequently worked as assistant to Thomas Chatfeild Clarke before commencing practice on his own account in 1887 in Blackburn and Liverpool, in partnership with Henry Vernon Wolstenholme. They were later joined by Arnold Thornely.
Briggs died on 28 September 1921.
