Basic Biographical Details Name: | Benjamin Chaikin | Designation: | | Born: | 1881 or 1885 or 1886(?) | Died: | 23 April 1950 | Bio Notes: | Benjamin Chaikin trained at the Architectural Association Schools and practised in London until the First World War. In 1920 he settled in Jerusalem where he continued to practise thereafter. He designed health centres, university and municipal buildings, post offices, libraries, hotels and institutes in Palestine, and specialised in quantity surveying and land valuation.
