Bio Notes: Robertson Reid Grant was born on 12 September 1905 and was articled to J H Langlands of Dundee in December 1921, attending classes at Dundee Technical College from 1923 to 1926. In June 1927 he moved to London to work in the office of Stanley Gordon Jeeves, and whilst there continued his studies in 1930 and 1931 at London's Northern Polytechnic. By 1935 he had progressed to the level of senior assistant with Jeeves. In February 1936 he joined the Architect's Department of Middlesex County Council as an assistant, and he was still there the following year when he was admitted LRIBA on 6 December, his proposers being Stanley Gordon Jeeves, James John Sydney Naylor and Sydney Clough. In 1955 at the time of his election to FRIBA he had a post with the NW Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board. His proposers were G D Andrews, E A Stillman, and another (indeciperable).

He died in Barnstaple between July and September 1975, survived by his wife.
