Bio Notes: The partnership between Harry Heathman and Eveline Dew Blacker was established when they submitted an entry under joint names for the Bristol Housing Competition of 1919. Although The Builder recorded “These designs call for no special comment. The plans are good but the elevations lack character.” Heathman and Blacker were selected as one of six architectural practices to sit on an advisory panel to assist the city engineer in the design of housing schemes.

Miss Eveline Dew Blacker and Harry Heathman submitted a joint entry for the Scottish Housing Competition in 1919.
