Bio Notes: Edward I'Anson was born in London on 25 July 1812, the son of an architect of the same name. He was articled to his father and subsequently worked in the office of John Wallen. He practised in London, latterly in partnership with his son Edward Blakeway I'Anson (born 1843). He died on 30 January 1888.
