Bio Notes: Verner Owen Rees was born in 1886 and trained in the office of Caroe & Passmore, studying at the Royal Academy Schools. He subsequently worked as assistant to Edwin Landseer Lutyens in 1911 and 1912, and in various New York offices. He taught at the Architectural Association Schools in London from 1921 to 1925, and in the latter year entered into partnership with Percy Morley Horder. The partnership was dissolved in 1929 when Rees became Principal of the Architectural Association Schools.

Rees died on 7 November 1966 at Parthenay, France.
