Bio Notes: Wilfried Ainslie was born about 1860. He was artciled to Paley & Austin in 1877 and entered Ewan Christian's office in the same year as Woodd, 1881. He formed a partnership with John Henry Townsend Woodd in 1887.

He was admitted FRIBA on 2 March 1903, with William Douglas Caroe as proposer and seconded by Aston Webb and C H Townsend.

The practice of Woodd & Townsend does not appear to have recommenced following World War I.
