Bio Notes: John Watt was born c.1866 and articled to an unspecified Aberdeen practice in 1882. He must have progressed very quickly as he was 'in various offices' in London prior to passing the qualifying exam after only three years in 1885. He was admitted ARIBA on 8 June 1885, his proposers being Robert Kerr (suggesting he had studied at King's College London, Henry Louis Florence and the scholar architect Edward Robert Robson. His address was then 14 Colby Road, Upper Norwood. Watt was expelled from the RIBA on 18 November 1889.
