Bio Notes: William Henry Arber was born in 1849 and articled to John Thomas Wimperis in 1866, remaining as assistant. He was admitted ARIBA on 4 March 1878, his proposers being Wimperis, Cooke and Arthur Cates. He became FRIBA on 4 December 1893 his proposers being Octavius Hansard, Professor Robert Kerr and Wimperis. Wimperis took him into partnership in 1889 as Wimperis & Arber. He died in November 1904.
