Basic Biographical Details

Name: Peter Fulton
Designation:
Born: c. 1863
Died: 17 March 1918
Bio Notes: Peter Fulton was born in c.1863 in Paisley and worked there as a building surveyor and inspector until the 1880s. He moved to Forres sometime after his marriage to Elizabeth Macfie in Rothesay, Bute on 17 October 1889 by whom he had three sons and a daughter. Details of his early training and years are lacking but he appears in Forres as an 'architect and building inspector' and was active there from the late 1890s being involved with the sale of land for road widening in May 1897. He was an active Freemason and a member of Forres Town Council.

He died on 17 March 1918 at his house which was called Ferguslie (presumably after his place of birth and/or early years).
