Bio Notes: Cameron Macdonald was born in Buckie, Banffshire on 28 April 1882 and articled to Cameron & Burnett in Inverness 1897-1902, remaining as assistant 1902-04. During that period he attended Inverness Technical School. In 1904 he moved to Elgin to work for Robert Baillie Pratt but moved back to Inverness to work for William Laidlaw Carruthers at the beginning of 1906. He was admitted LRIBA on 24 June 1912, his proposers being Carruthers, Pratt and Alexander Ross. At the time of his application he was an assistant with Carruthers who practised from 17 Queen's Gate, Inverness. Nothing is known of his life beyond that date.
