Basic Biographical Details Name: | George Morham | Designation: | | Born: | | Died: | | Bio Notes: | George Morham was the son of Robert Morham, 13 Lauder Road, Grange and brother of Robert Morham (junior), who succeedd David Cousin as Edinburgh City Architect in 1878.
George commenced independent practice as a civil engineer and surveyor at 34 St Andrew Square c.1880. He was then living at 17 Findhorn Place, but had moved to 7 North Mansionhouse Road, later 17 Mansionhouse Road by 1890. In the early 1890s the practice moved to 39 George Street before finally settling at 29 Hanover Street in the very early 1900s. There Morham took into partnership _____ Gardner who has not been traced, but by 1907 this had been dissolved, Morham thereafter practising with K N Morham. When he died c.1926 the practice became Morham & Brotchie.
