Bio Notes: Huisdean (or Uisdean) Ian Matheson was one of two architect sons of Highland architect Donald Matheson. Matheson worked in the family firm, Donald Matheson & Sons, and was assumed into partnership in 1932. With his brother Donald Junior, he continued the practice after their father's death in 1934. He retired in 1972.
