Basic Biographical Details Name: | Frederick Wheeler | Designation: | | Born: | 1853 | Died: | 1931 | Bio Notes: | Frederick Wheeler was born in 1853 and was articled to Charles Henry Driver from 1868 to 1872, remaining for a further three years as assistant. He subsequently worked as assistant to Taylor & Dyball and other practices before commencing independent practice in partnership with Edward Power in 1875. He later worked in partnership with Lodge, Godman, Searle and his son. He was admitted ARIBA in 1877, at which time he was working in the District Surveyor's Office of the Southern Division of the City of London, and was elevated to FRIBA in 1884.
