Bio Notes: Francis William Tasker was articled to George Mayhew and Charles Joseph Knight from 1864, and remained as assistant. He subsequently worked in the office of Henry Clutton for a year and travelled in Holland, Belgium and France before commencing independent practice in 1872. He was admitted ARIBA two years later, and elevated to FRIBA in 1903. He entered into partnership with Ernest Henry Major c.1904 but died in the latter year.
