Bio Notes: George Thomas Hine was born in 1841, the son of Thomas Chambers Hine of Nottingham, and entered his father's office in 1858. His father took him into partnership in 1867. He commenced independent practice in 1890 and by 1905 had moved to London where he became Consulting Architect to H M Commissioners in Lunacy and practised in partnership with Hallam Carter Pegg. Hine died on 25 April 1916.
