| Bio Notes: | Arthur Armstrong was educated at the Edinburgh Institution, and was articled to Alex A Foote in c.1927 at the age of 18. Foote scathingly noted that he 'was very unsatisfactory and did not intend to go on with this profession. He absented himself from office on occasion and finally got into trouble outside the office, left home and did not come back to office'. It was later noted that he died in 1932. |
