Basic Biographical Details

Name: F W Pyott
Designation:
Born: 1905 or 1904(?)
Died:
Bio Notes: F W Pyott was educated at Queen Victoria School, Dunblane. According to Alexander Allan Foote, he was born in 1904 or 1905 but still managed to undertake war service; it is more probable that in fact he was either born earlier or served in the armed forces after the end of the First World War. He was discharged from the army and was articled to Foote in Edinburgh in 1924. When his articles were finished in 1928, he remained on as a draughtsman for £2 per week until November 1929, whereupon he left to work in H M Office of Works. No further details of him are known.
