Bio Notes: Edmund Benjamin Ferrey was born in 1845 or 1846 and studied at King's College for two years before joining practice of his father, Benjamin Ferrey, as an apprentice in June 1862. From January to October 1829 he was employed as an improver with George Gilbert Scott. He later worked with his father and independently. He was admited ARIBA on 16 November 1868 and FRIBA on 3 December 1877.

He died in April 1900.
