Basic Biographical Details

Name: Thomas Arthur Heiton
Designation: Architect
Born: After 1823
Died: 19 June 1881
Bio Notes: Thomas Arthur Heiton was a son of Perth architect Andrew Heiton Senior and his wife Janet Lorimer, and was younger brother of Andrew Heiton Junior. He worked in the family practice. Someone in the office, perhaps Thomas Arthur, would appear to have been at Alfred Waterhouse's office as Waterhouse's style is markedly in evidence at Perth Municipal Buildings. Thomas Arthur presumably had a hand in the firm's work prior to 1880. He died at his home, Darnick Villa in Perth, on 19 June 1881.
