He commenced practice about 1870 in Glasgow working from 98 Bath Street in 1871 and from 68 Bath Street from 1875-1880.
In the 1871 he was living withand three brothers in Montrose Street, Glasgow and by 1881 he was living in Hill Street with two sisters and one brother.
