Bio Notes: The partnership of Honeyman Keppie & Mackintosh was formed on 1 January 1901, although the partnership agreement was drawn up retrospectively on 10 October of that year and it is not yet absolutely clear from what point in that year the practice title began to be used. Honeyman's retirement was not absolute as he continued to be involved in the Iona Cathedral restoration works until 1904/05.

The original partnership agreement was for a period of ten years. It was effectively dissolved in June 1913 following a financial analysis of the practice for the years 1901 to 1911, drawn up in 1912, but nit acted upon at that time. The legal dissolution of the partnership did not take place until June 1914.

See separate entries on the partners for further information.
