Bio Notes: William Henry Bidlake worked as assistant in the offices of R W Edis and Bodley & Garner in London and subsequently with Wardrop & Anderson in Edinburgh, where he assisted on the competition designs for the Imperial Institute in London. He commenced independent practice in Birmingham in 1887. He was Professor at Birmingham School of Art c.1900. He died in 1938.
