Bio Notes: William Halkerston was born on 8 July 1909 and was articled to T Scott Sutherland of Aberdeen on 9 September 1927. He obtained his diploma on 14 June 1933 and from August 1933 to April 1934 he sought practical experience with G W Bruce Esq, precast concrete manufacturer, studying building methods and carrying out experimental work in concrete.
